Our Guarantees: Christmas Light Installation — Full Terms
cope and Eligibility
Applies to residential Christmas light installs by Olsen Stain Co. during the 2025 season (Nov 1–Dec 20) within our service area, as listed on your written estimate. Guarantees apply to the original purchaser at the service address and are not transferable.
Definitions
“Install week” = any business day (Mon–Sat) within the scheduled week on your estimate.
“No‑Bulb‑Out” = a single LED or section failure due to product/connection issues we supplied/installed (not power supply issues or homeowner damage).
Start‑Week Guarantee ($100 Credit)
Promise: We install during your scheduled week.
Remedy: If we miss your scheduled install week, you receive a $100 credit applied to your final invoice (one credit per project).
Exclusions: Severe/inclement weather (rain, snow, ice, high winds), unsafe site conditions, HOA/permit delays, homeowner‑requested reschedule or added scope, site not ready (no access/power, obstructed areas), or safety hazards.
No‑Bulb‑Out Season Guarantee (48‑Hour Service Target)
Promise: Your display stays lit through Dec 20.
Remedy: Report any bulb/section out; we repair/replace within 48 hours (business days). Service is free through Dec 20.
Exclusions: Tripped breakers/GFCI, timer mis‑settings, power outages, weather/animal/tree damage, homeowner‑moved cords/clips, third‑party modifications, or non‑Olsen components. If weather prevents service, we attend at the next safe window.
Clean Site Guarantee (We Return or Reimburse)
Promise: We leave no tape, loose clips, cords across walkways, or debris in work areas.
Remedy: Notify us within 48 hours of completion with photos; we return within 3 business days to correct at no charge. If we fail to remedy, we reimburse documented cleanup costs up to $200 (or return to correct—our choice).
Exclusions: Pre‑existing debris/damage, inaccessible/uncleared areas, normal dust outside work zone, landscaping debris not related to our work.
Homeowner Responsibilities
Provide safe/clear access to install areas; working exterior outlets and adequate power; approve design/location; keep pets/kids clear during work; do not move cords, timers, or clips after install; notify us promptly of issues with photos. Conditional guarantees require clear conditions and claims windows.
Changes and Hidden Conditions
Any added scope or hidden issues (rot, unstable ladders/surfaces, unsafe rooflines) require written approval and may adjust price/timeline. Unapproved work is not performed.
Claims Process
Submit claims to Daniel@OlsenStainCompany.com or 608‑420‑6577 with your name, address, photos/video, and a brief description. Start‑Week claims within 7 days of missed week; Clean Site within 48 hours of completion; No‑Bulb‑Out through Dec 20. We must inspect/verify to approve remedies.
Limits
Remedies are limited to the credits/services stated (including the $100 credit and $200 cleanup cap). No refunds beyond remedies described. Guarantees may not be combined with other credits/discounts beyond amounts stated.
Safety and Weather
We follow manufacturer and safety specs. Severe weather extends timelines without triggering credits. If conditions are unsafe, we reschedule to the next available safe window.
